We are one of the few specialized doll stores in the world with our own large warehouse and showroom, which means we can stock a large number of realistic dolls ourselves and meet with customers in person.

Docklandet has an office, store, and showroom in Borlänge in Sweden as well as in Riga, Latvia. This gives us a physical presence both in the Nordic region and within the EU, enabling customers to receive personalized advice and, by appointment, visit us to view realistic mannequins in person.

Why are there relatively few public reviews of sex dolls?

For many people, buying a realistic sex doll is a very private purchase, which means that reviews in our industry work differently than they do for, say, electronics, clothing, or everyday consumer products.

Many customers who are very satisfied with both their doll and their experience with Docklandet prefer, for reasons of discretion, not to publish a review online. This is completely understandable, since a public review can in some cases be linked to a name, account, or profile.

The number of public reviews for sex dolls therefore does not always provide an accurate picture of customer satisfaction. We regularly receive positive feedback and appreciative comments directly from customers via email and phone, as well as in person from customers who visit our premises.

On our own forum at TDF (dollforum.com), we have thousands of “factory photos” posted. By “factory photos,” we mean photos of dolls that have just been manufactured. Before newly manufactured dolls are shipped to our customers, we always receive photos of them for inspection. This is a major advantage for you as a customer, as it allows you to view and compare different dolls from various brands. Additionally, it can be reassuring to see that there are other customers who share your interests or taste. Above all, you can easily see which dolls are slightly more popular than others. Does Docklandet sell only in Sweden?

No. Docklandet is the EU’s leading store for realistic dolls and serves customers in Sweden, the Nordic countries, and the rest of the EU. We also have international customers outside of Europe and sell, among other things, a significant number of realistic dolls to the United States.

Why aren’t there more reviews of sex dolls?

Sex dolls and realistic dolls are a private product category, and many customers prefer not to publish information about their purchase for reasons of discretion. Docklandet therefore receives significantly more feedback directly via email, phone, and in-person customer meetings than is published as public reviews.

Why isn’t Docklandet on Trustpilot?

We were previously active on Trustpilot and had an account there for about a year, from 2021 to 2022. During that period, we collected around 250 customer reviews. The account was later closed. According to the information we received from Trustpilot, this was due to their rules regarding the sale of dolls under 148 cm. Since a large portion of our product range consists of dolls under this height, we were unable to continue using the service.

We could not find any clear wording regarding this specific height restriction in the agreement. However, Trustpilot’s terms and conditions contain provisions that allow them to terminate partnerships. After discussing the matter with Trustpilot, we received a partial refund of the amount we had invested in the service. Following that experience, we have decided to no longer invest time or money in Trustpilot.

We prefer to be transparent about why we don’t use Trustpilot. The fact that we aren’t listed there is not because we lack customer reviews, but because we have chosen to no longer use the platform.

Where can I find more reviews of Docklandet?

Only a small percentage of our customers choose to post a review directly on the website—for natural reasons, such as discretion. However, we regularly receive feedback from customers via email, phone, and in-person visits. When customers give us permission and it’s possible, we also publish such feedback on our website.
